Rain Harvesting
Since 2015, the college has proudly implemented a rainwater harvesting system featuring recharge pits with a delisting chamber. These pits, dug to the depth of a bore well, collectively hold up to 15,000 litres of water.
The rainwater captured is utilized to nurture gardens and irrigate fields, making every drop a practical lesson in sustainability and helping to minimize the campus’s water footprint.
Through rainwater harvesting, the college not only reduces costs and conserves water but also enhances green spaces and promotes eco-friendly practices. Each rainfall becomes an opportunity to innovate sustainably and demonstrate resourcefulness.
